The Amaus Dental Services Open House
The Amaus Dental Services Open House saw thirty dentists and healthcare providers circle through with an additional 30 potential volunteers, all full of gratitude for the expanded dental treatment facility on Friday, February 10th, 2017.
Bishop Cunningham blessed the clinic and we are open, seeing patients.

Amaus Dental Service is an outreach of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Our mission is to provide quality dental care to the members of our Central New York community who find themselves unemployed, homeless or without dental insurance. The scope of the care we offer is limited to examinations, x-rays, hygiene (cleanings), fillings and routine extractions. We do not do root canals, replace any missing teeth, provide or repair dentures, nor extract wisdom teeth. We will not be able to address all of the dental needs of many of our patients, and it may be necessary for the patient to pursue further care on their own. We do have a very limited formulary of medications which includes basic antibiotics, and non-narcotic pain medication.
Amaus Medical Services is now listed as a charity in United Way.
please consider this and look for it when you are asked to donate to United Way!
Our hours are limited by the availability of our volunteer staff and treatment is by appointment only.
Appointments can be made by calling 315-802-6741.
We take our commitment to Amaus very seriously. We will make every attempt to get you the earliest possible appointment and address your needs within the scope of care described above.
We ask that you also take your appointments at Amaus Dental Services very seriously. If you make an appointment, please keep it. If an emergency arises, please call as far ahead of time as possible to change your appointment. All of our providers are volunteers whose time is valuable. One sure way to lose them as volunteers is to have patients fail to show up for their appointments and have the scarce resource of provider’s time wasted. Please do not let this happen!
